Show-Room Floors: Planet Hollywood is located in the heart
of Time-Square . The main entrance facing Broadway opens to the
merchandising store. Durite worked with the architects and interior
designers to develop the right mix of terrazzo colors and aggregates.
Black and white aggregates in an off-white color background was
chosen for the terrazzo floors. The floor extends into the interior
and stairs connecting the first street level to the level above.
The use of advanced materials and artistic talents has created
a highly attractive and unique atmosphere at Planet Hollywood.
A translucent acrylic bridge Tortoise-Shell design with illuminated
under-mount lighting connects the restaurant’s waiting area
to the main dinning floor. A blue translucent acrylic floor with
light illumination and painted surface waves creates the illusion
of walking on water.
